Shaikha Alawadhi is a CDA licensed psychologist and holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from United Arab Emirates University, Al Ain, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Services from Zayed University, Dubai. Her diverse experience spans community institutions, clinical settings, and work with children with disabilities and autism, enabling her to address various mental health and social challenges across different age groups.
Shaikha is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based therapies. She is proficient in numerous therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, person-centered therapy, play therapy, foundations of art therapy, animal-assisted therapy, positive parenting, and mindfulness-based therapies. She is committed to fostering a supportive and non-judgmental therapeutic environment where clients can openly explore their concerns, thoughts, and emotions, thereby enhancing their functioning and quality of life.
With extensive training in mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, panic disorder, PTSD, self-harm, developmental difficulties, behavioral challenges, early intervention, behavior modification techniques, and relaxation tools, Shaikha is well-equipped to assist both children and adults in their mental health journeys.
